Masks

Begun as an audio experiment, Masks illustrates modern exploitation, production and consumption in animated terms. In Masks the audio came first, thus all images exist to tell the musical story, instead of the typical method of scoring music after animation has been completed. In this manner, Masks projects itself as a musical interpretation, a contemporary and disturbing version of the Disney formula of Fantasia.

She’s an evil demon bent on converting everyone to Catholicism. Damn, I spoiled it).

Down on his luck again, the likable and plucky, if opportunistic, knight, Sir Oliver, is on the run. Stumbling into the king’s receiving room, Sir Oliver finds the old monarch’s crown, left forgotten on the throne. Intrigued at this unique, valuable, and fragile find, the easily distracted Sir Oliver gives the crown a try to see how it sits on his head. Trouble quickly returns when a searching knight tracks down Oliver’s hiding place.
